LISTEN

➡️    Point-In-Time & Lifecycle: Keyword Definitions

User Roles: Admin, Creator

Required Subscription(s): Platform

Admin and Creator users can now improve clarity, comprehension, and accessibility in listening events by adding keyword definitions directly within event content. Respondents often need additional context to accurately interpret key terms. By embedding clear definitions, you help ensure accurate responses and enhance overall data quality.

What’s New

Previously, keyword definitions were provided on the listening event Welcome page, requiring respondents to recall definitions as they moved through the event. To improve clarity and accessibility, the Listening Event Builder now allows users to define keywords and display their definitions contextually using a hover-over method.

Once a keyword is defined, its definition automatically appears wherever the term is used in the listening event. This ensures respondents have the information they need, exactly when they need it, improving both the participant experience and data quality.

How it Works

A new Keyword Definitions tab is available in the Content phase of the Listening Event Builder. Here, users can:

  • Add new keywords and definitions

  • Edit existing entries

  • Delete keywords

Once defined, keywords are automatically detected and enhanced with hover-over definitions wherever they appear in event content. During the event preview, users can see how these definitions will display to participants.

When respondents hover over a defined keyword, a tooltip appears with the corresponding definition, providing instant, accessible context without disrupting the flow of the listening event.

Additional Information

  • Up to 25 keyword definitions can be added per event.

  • Keywords have a maximum character length of 100.

  • Definitions have a maximum character length of 280.

  • Keywords and definitions can be translated with the rest of the listening event content.

  • Users can edit or remove keyword definitions only when the event is in Draft status.

ACT

➡️    Open an AI Coach Session From Nudges in MS Teams and Slack

User Roles: Manager, HRBP, Individual Contributor

Required Subscription(s): Platform, Activate/Grow

Users can now launch AI Coach directly from within nudges delivered in Microsoft Teams and Slack, making it easier to act on guidance and maximize effectiveness in the flow of work.

What’s New

Nudges delivered via Microsoft Teams or Slack now include a Chat with AI Coach option in the Action section. This allows recipients to access contextual, real-time support directly related to the nudge content.

Note: The Chat with AI Coach option appears only if AI Coach is enabled for your organization.

How it Works

When a user clicks Chat with AI Coach, a new session opens in the People Insights Platform with a pre-filled, nudge-specific question to jumpstart the conversation. AI Coach provides tailored insights, guidance, or next steps based on the user’s responses, helping them quickly understand and act on the recommendation.

For more details and step-by-step instructions, see the Use AI Coach Knowledge Base article.

➡️    Unsubscribe Option for Email Nudges

User Roles: Manager, HRBP, Individual Contributor

Required Subscription(s): Platform, Activate/Grow

Nudge recipients can now unsubscribe from email nudges without needing to log in to the People Insights Platform. This feature gives employees more control over how they receive communications, supporting greater autonomy and user choice.

What’s New

Email-delivered nudges now include an Unsubscribe link at the bottom, allowing users to opt out quickly and easily.

How it Works

To unsubscribe from email nudges, the user follows a simple, three-step process:

  1. Click Unsubscribe at the bottom of the email nudge.

A new browser tab opens with an unsubscribe request message and confirmation prompt.

  1. Click Confirm Unsubscribe to complete the request.

A confirmation message appears.

  1. View the confirmation message, then close the tab.

Users can resubscribe at any time by updating their preferences in Account Settings in the People Insights Platform.

Note: The Unsubscribe feature applies only to email nudges. It does not affect nudges delivered via Microsoft Teams or Slack, or other notifications sent by Perceptyx.

For more details and step-by-step instructions, see the Interact with Intelligent Nudges Knowledge Base article.
