Modified on Tue, 11 Jun at 10:39 AM

Once you’ve defined your priorities, outcomes, and KPIs, you can begin building your Insights and Action Strategy – your blueprint for success. The Blueprint outlines how to translate your business and talent priorities into a comprehensive listening strategy designed to drive the business outcomes and impact your desire. It essentially serves as a roadmap for your listening strategy and partnership with Perceptyx.

This Blueprint helps you identify 1-2 important steps to take to help you advance along the Perceptyx Maturity Curve.

This article guides you in creating an Insights and Action Strategy aligned with your organization's maturity level and Key Business and Talent Priorities. It further explains how to develop an Insights and Action Blueprint based on the defined priorities and outcomes from your Strategy.

This article walks through:

Prepare to Build Your Insights and Action Strategy

Before building your Blueprint, complete the following actions:

  1. Identify your Business and Talent Priorities.

  2. Identify and quantify your Business Outcomes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  3. Identify the timeframe for your listening or insights event(s).

  4. Identify the appropriate Perceptyx event type(s) to use.

  5. Complete your Maturity Assessment and identify opportunities.

We also encourage you to consider:

  • How do you want to gather insights?

  • How do you want to drive action?

  • What themes, questions, & nudges will you include?

  • What behavior do you want to affect?

Build Your Insights and Action Blueprint

Once you’ve defined your priorities and outcomes, and defined what actions need to be taken to be successful, you can translate those priorities into a comprehensive employee experience listening strategy designed to drive organizational improvement and measurable business outcomes. This Blueprint outlines the programs, content, and campaigns to uncover insights and drive action. As you continue to design your programs (or partner with our Employee Transformation Experts to design your programs), you will continue to build out and refine your Blueprint.

  1. For each priority, define the following:

    • Perceptyx Event Type
What event type(s) do you plan to employ for this priority?

    • Cadence / Timeframe
When do you plan to activate this/these listening event(s)?

    • Outcome Measure
How will you measure and quantify success?

    • Participants / Action Owner
Who will participate and who will own this/these listening event(s)?

    • Desired Insights
What insights are you looking to gather and act upon?

    • Post-Insights Plans
What actions are planned to follow up your listening and analysis?

    • Integration of Business Data
What business metrics do you plan to measure by?
