Action Planning Resources Overview

When survey results are shared, the important work of understanding employee feedback and taking action begins. Perceptyx provides Action Planning Resources to support leaders at all levels to more quickly, deeply and practically translate survey insights into meaningful action. 

Who is the intended audience for Action Planning Resources? 

These resources are designed for people leaders and others responsible for interpreting survey results and driving action across the organization. Any leader with access to survey results and action planning tools can benefit from these resources.

How are Action Planning Resources developed? 

Action Planning Resources are created and reviewed by behavioral scientists, practitioners, and industrial/organizational psychologists, then scaled using AI. They are grounded in leading research and best practices in behavior change. 

All content is fully aligned to the People Insights Model, ensuring consistency from measurement to insight, action, and change. These resources are available for each survey item in the Perceptyx benchmark library and all custom items can be mapped to the People Insights Model as well to leverage this content.

The resources available include: 

• Sample Nudges: Each survey item is mapped to a specific behavior that is reinforced through Perceptyx Intelligent Nudges. Leaders can see a sample of the nudge content they can expect to see related to the item they selected for action planning.

• Questions to Consider: Behavior-focused open-ended questions are provided for each item. These are designed to help the manager generate discussion with their team to inform an effective action plan. In addition to the questions provided in the Questions to Consider section, a downloadable discussion guide is available in the Available Resources section. 

• Learning Resources: For leaders looking to learn more about this focus area, links to Perceptyx resources including action planning guides, blogs and thought leadership are available. These are all Perceptyx authored materials that have been published within the past three years. 

• Suggestions: Recommended Action Steps are each based on behavioral science principles and provide leaders with a starting point for developing an effective action plan commitment.

• AI Coach: Leaders can engage with AI Coach for personalized, behavior science-based assistance in creating their action plan. 

Where can I find this content? 

The Action Planning Resources have been incorporated into the Perceptyx platform and reports in multiple ways. They are available in the flow of the action planning process as well as in manager toolkits if desired. 

Can this content be personalized? 

Action Planning Resources provide a strong foundation of behavioral science backed content, but this content can also be updated, enhanced and customized by each organization to reference their own internal Learning and Development materials, cultural and performance expectations.
