Preview Your Survey

When you begin the Build phase of your survey, the Launch Preview button appears at the bottom of the page. You can click this button at any time to preview your survey in draft mode in a separate browser tab. The preview shows how the survey appears to participants. You can navigate through the survey from start to finish, answer the questions, verify that conditional logic is working correctly, and submit the completed survey. We recommend previewing your survey to ensure it’s setup correctly before moving on.

Preview Your Survey

1. Navigate to the Build phase for your survey.

   1. From within the Program Builder:

      1. Click Build in the progress bar.

   2. From My Surveys:

      1. Click the pencil icon for the survey you want to preview.

Note: You can also click the gear icon and then select Edit Survey.

3. The survey opens in draft mode, displaying the Overview page.

4. Click Build in the progress bar.

2. At the bottom of the page, click Launch Preview.

   1. The survey preview opens in a separate browser tab. An orange bar across the top of the page displays the text This survey is currently in Draft mode. Survey responses will not be saved.

Note: You can also copy and share the URL for the preview survey with others outside the platform so they can also view and evaluate the survey experience without having to access the platform.

3. Click through the survey, answer questions, and submit if you want to view the Thank You page.

Note: All submitted responses are automatically cleared when you make the survey live.

4. When you are done, simply close the browser tab.
