System Settings

The Systems Settings page displays the available systems settings (e.g., Demographic Page), the ability to toggle on and off, and the ability to define values (if applicable). As an Administrator, you can enable or disable a system setting by turning on or off its Active toggle and define its value using the fields / dropdowns in the Value column.


                Note: System Settings are available only for customers with Program Builder (self-service).


This article walks through:



Access System Settings

You can access the System Settings from the gear icon in the left navigation of the Program Builder (self-service).


  1. Navigate to the Program Builder.

    1. Navigate to the Surveys page and select +Build New Survey.

The Program Builder Wizard displays. You must exit to access the Program Builder main navigation.

  1. Select Exit.

        2. Hover over the left navigation bar and select the Application Settings (gear icon) dropdown.

        3. Select System Settings.


Set System Settings

  1. Select System Settings from the Administrator Settings dropdown.

  2. Update your system settings.

    1. Turn on the Active toggle for each item you want to enable.

    2. Turn off the Active toggle for each item you want to disable.

    3. Update the value for each active item (if applicable) by entering or selecting the value.


Available System Settings


  • Minimum # of Responses for Survey Results
    The minimum number of respondents for a user to receive access to the reporting site. Recommended value: 5

Note: If either this option or the Minimum # Responses for Comment Results option is inactive, an Admin or Creator user can configure these settings for each individual survey.


  • Minimum # of Responses for Comment Results
    The minimum number of comments required to show a given comment question in the comments report. Recommended value: 5

  • Demographics Page
    Enables a survey creator to add a Demographics page and ask self-select demographic questions on their survey.

  • Enable Exclusion Rule Filtering
    Prevents users from identifying scores for groups below the threshold by requiring the remainder of the filter to also meet the minimum threshold. 

  • Exclude Partial Survey Responses
    Excludes partial survey responses from reporting.

  • Available Reporting Languages (in addition to English)
    Languages available for reporting.
