As you and your team reach the end of the action planning process, it is important to mark your commitments as complete. This provides up to date information for action plan usage reporting and gives your team an opportunity to celebrate the work they have done together. You can also mark entire action plans as complete and delete unwanted action plans.
You can complete commitments and action plans and delete action plans from the Act platform page or from the Advanced Reporting Dashboard.
This article walks through:
Mark Commitments as Complete
As you accomplish the commitments in action plans, you can mark them as complete.
From the Act Page
Log into the People Insights Platform.
In the navigation bar, click Act.
The Act page appears.
In the Active Action Plans section, find the card for the action plan you’d like to update and then click View Details.
The details for the action plan appear.
To mark a commitment as done, click Mark as Done.
Click Go Back to Act Home (top left) to return to the Act page.
From the Advanced Reporting Dashboard
Navigate to the Advanced Reporting Dashboard, the Favorability Report (Point-In-Time or Lifecycle events), or the Detailed Scores Report (360 Feedback events).
If you created action plans in the dashboard, a View Action button displays for corresponding items. If you created action plans in the Favorability Report or the Detailed Scores Report, a View Action button displays in the report next to each item for which you created an action plan.

Complete an Action Plan
When the commitments for an action plan are done, you can mark the action plan as completed. Completing an action plan removes it from the Active Action Plans section of the Act page; however, you can still view it by clicking View All above the Active Action Plans section and clicking the Expand icon for the associated listening event.
Note: Completing an action plan makes the associated listening event item unavailable for future action planning. To make the item available again, delete the action plan (see the next section of this article for instructions). If you need a record of the action plan, you can download the data before deleting it, as long as you have the necessary permissions. For more details, refer to the View Action Plans article.
Note: When an action plan is completed it no longer triggers Intelligent Nudges (Activate/Grow).
From the Act Page
Navigate to the Act page.
In the Active Action Plans section, find the card for the action plan you want to complete and then click View Details.

Delete an Action Plan
Deleting an action plan removes it from all views in the Act page and allows the listening event item to once again become eligible for action planning. If you need a record of the action plan, you can download the data before deleting it, as long as you have the necessary permissions. For more details, refer to the View Action Plans article.
Note: When an action plan is deleted it no longer triggers Intelligent Nudges (Activate/Grow). If you delete an action plan and then create a new one for the same listening event item, the new action plan’s View Details page will still show nudges that were sent under the original (now deleted) action plan. Nudge engagement data is not impacted.
