Edit & Manage Action Plans

As you and your team work through the action planning process, you can easily edit, update, or archive action plans. You can edit and manage action plans from the Act platform page or from the Advanced Reporting Dashboard 


This article walks through:


Edit or Update an Action Plan

You can edit an action plan by choosing a different item to focus on (Perceptyx-led events only) or modifying your action steps. You can also add progress notes or update an action plan. 


From the Act Page


  1. Log in to the People Insights Platform.

  2. In the navigation bar, click Act.

The Act page appears, displaying active action plans you have access to in the Active Action Plans section. If you have multiple user roles for which you create action plans, you can filter the list of active plans by role.

  1. If you have multiple user roles and want to filter by one or more, display the Role dropdown, select the checkbox for the role(s) you want to use, and clear the checkbox for any role(s) you don’t want to use. Click outside of the dropdown to close it.

  2. In the Active Action Plans section, find the card for the action plan you’d like to edit or update and then click View Details.

The details for the action plan appear.



From the details view you can mark commitments as done or edit the action plan.

  1. To mark a commitment as done, click Mark as Done.

  2. To update or edit the action plan: 

    1. Click Edit (top right).

The action plan workflow opens.

  1. Make your changes and then click Save (bottom right).

  1. Click Go Back to Act Home (top left) to return to the Act page.

 


From the Advanced Reporting Dashboard


  1. Navigate to the Advanced Reporting Dashboard or the Favorability Report.

If you created action plans in the dashboard, a View Action Plan button displays for corresponding items. If you created action plans in the Favorability Report, a View Action button displays in the report next to each item for which you created an action plan.

  1. Navigate to the item you want to view the action plan for, then click View Action Plan or View Action, as applicable.

From the details view you can mark commitments as done or edit the action plan.

  1. To mark a commitment as done, click Mark as Done.

  2. To update or edit the action plan: 

    1. Click Edit (top right).

The action plan workflow opens.

  1. Make your changes and then click Save (bottom right).

  1. Click Go Back to Act Home (top left) to return to the Act page.
