Complete an Action Plan

As you and your team reach the end of the action planning process, it is important to mark your commitments as complete. This provides up to date information for action plan usage reporting and gives your team an opportunity to celebrate the work they have done together. You can also archive completed action plans.


You can complete action plans from the Act platform page or from the Advanced Reporting Dashboard


This article walks through:


Mark Commitments as Complete

As you accomplish the commitments in action plans, you can mark them as complete.


From the Act Page


  1. Log into the People Insights Platform.

  2. In the navigation bar, click Act.

The Act page appears.

  1. In the Active Action Plans section, find the card for the action plan you’d like to update and then click View Details.

The details for the action plan appear.



  1. To mark a commitment as done, click Mark as Done.

  2. Click Go Back to Act Home (top left) to return to the Act page.



From the Advanced Reporting Dashboard


  1. Navigate to the Advanced Reporting Dashboard or the Favorability Report.

If you created action plans in the dashboard, a View Action Plan button displays for corresponding items. If you created action plans in the Favorability Report, a View Action button displays in the report next to each item for which you created an action plan.

  1. Navigate to the item you want to view the action plan for, then click View Action Plan or View Action, as applicable.

  1. To mark a commitment as done, click Mark as Done.

  2. Click Go Back to Act Home (top left) to return to the Act page.


 

Archive an Action Plan

If you no longer need an action plan or if it is completed, you can archive it.


From the Act Page


  1. Navigate to the Act page.

  2. In the Active Action Plans section, find the card for the action plan you want to archive and then click View Details.

The action plan details appear and an Archive button appears at the top-right corner of the page.

  1. Click Archive (top right).

A confirmation message appears.

  1. Click Archive.

The action plan is archived.


Note: You can view archived action plans by clicking View All above the Active Action Plans section and clicking the Expand icon for a listening event. All active and archived action plans display in the list.



From the Advanced Reporting Dashboard


  1. Navigate to the Advanced Reporting Dashboard or the Favorability Report.

If you created action plans in the dashboard, a View Action Plan button displays for corresponding items. If you created action plans in the Favorability Report, a View Action button displays in the report next to each item for which you created an action plan.

  1. Navigate to the item you want to view the action plan for, then click View Action Plan or View Action, as applicable.
