The Home page is your first stop after logging in to the People Insights Platform and is the central location for all your listening tools, activities, and insights. The Home page is designed to focus your attention on recent listening events and your next steps in the listening process (for example, completing a listening event, analyzing results, or working on action plans). What you see on your Home page is based on your role, permissions, company configurations, and purchased features.

Access the Home Page
When you log in to the People Insights Platform, the Home Page displays. If you navigate away from the Home page, you can return to it by clicking Home in the navigation bar.
Explore the Home Page
As mentioned previously, the items displayed on the Home page depend on your user role and permissions, company settings, and the features purchased. Every user’s Home page includes the navigation bar. The following examples show the Home page experience for Admin and Creator users and Managers and HR users, all with Activate/Grow purchased. Navigate the Platform (Navigation Bar)
The navigation bar provides one-click access to all your listening events, reporting, action plans, an alert for pending tasks, and your account settings. If you are an Administrator, it also provides access to the Admin Portal.
The navigation bar remains visible at all times so you can easily navigate back and forth between each option as you move about the platform. Simply click an item in the bar to access it.
Note: The items that appear in your navigation bar vary based on your company’s configuration choices and your user permissions.
Home
Return to the Home page.
Listen
Access, manage, and build listening events.
Analyze
Access reporting for closed listening events and active listening events that have met the minimum response threshold for reporting. If you are an administrator, you can also click Analytics Studio for Point-In-Time or Lifecycle events to build custom dashboards and use comment analysis.
Act
Create, review, and manage action plans (based on your user permissions). If Intelligent Nudges are enabled, interact with Intelligent Nudges and AI-assisted action planning.
Admin Portal (Admins Only)
Read-only access to company details, Business and Talent Priorities, active and inactive subscriptions, active API tokens, employee details, and snapshots, and active access to platform settings for listening events.
Alerts
View a list of all pending tasks or requests (e.g., responding to a listening event or a reminder about an upcoming action plan date).
Help
Provides access to the Perceptyx Knowledge Base (all users) and Perceptyx Academy (admins, creators, and HR users), and enables you to contact Customer Care or give feedback.
Account Settings
Access and update your account settings, including your profile (read-only) and notifications settings.
Read and Complete Alerts
The Alerts area highlights updates and time-sensitive tasks for you to complete, such as participating in new listening events or creating or reviewing action plans. The task with the nearest due date displays with an action button you can click to view or complete the task. If you have multiple tasks pending, the Alerts area will also display a link you can click to view them all. You can also click Alerts in the navigation bar to view all pending alerts.

If there are multiple alerts, click the link in the bottom-right corner to display a list of your tasks.

In the navigation bar, click Alerts.
Complete an Alert
Review the alert.
Click the action button.
Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the task.
Work with Recent Events (Admin and Creator Users)
The Recent section displays the four most recently created, modified, launched, or closed events, along with action buttons for working with each event. Action buttons vary based on the status of the event. For example:
Live Report: View current results for an in progress (active) event.
View Report: View results for a closed event.
Manage Event: Make changes to a draft event (or restricted changes to an active event).
The Manage All Events option (top right) takes you to the Listen page, where you can manage all your listening events. The All Results option (top right) takes you to the Analyze page, where you can view results for all your events. For more information, see the Listen and Analyze articles.
Access Your Latest Results (Manager and HR Users)
The Your Latest Results section displays the most recently closed event and an action button for viewing the results. If you have more than one user role (for example, manager and HRBP) you can use the View Report As dropdown to select the reporting persona for which you want to view results.
The All Results option (top right) takes you to the Analyze page, where you can view results for all your events. For more information, see the Analyze article.
Work on Your Next Steps
The Your Next Steps section displays your most recent Intelligent Nudges (if enabled), action plan invites, and commitment reminders for existing action plans. These items are all designed to help you initiate and follow through on action planning.
The View More option (top right) takes you to the Act page, where you can view and work with all your nudges and action plans. For more information, see the Act article.
Intelligent Nudges are personalized, science-based action recommendations delivered in the flow of work, and powered by AI, that drive business impact by creating positive changes in behavior. You’ll see nudges if Activate/Grow is enabled for your company. For more information, see the Activate Overview and Grow Overview articles.
Commitments are reminders for existing action plans. Click the View Action Plan button in the commitment to view and update the action plan. For more information, see the Edit & Manage Action Plans article.
Action plan invites are prompts to create a new action plan based on your most recent listening event results. Click the Start Action Plan button in the invite to open the action planning workflow for your most recent event. If your company has Activate/Grow enabled, you can use AI-assisted action planning, which proactively identifies the top areas you should focus on and suggests an action plan to address those items. View and Edit Your Account Settings
You can view and edit your account settings by clicking your initials in the top-right of the navigation bar. Clicking your initials displays a drop down menu with options for accessing account settings and signing out of the platform.
When you access your Account Settings, you can view your profile information and view and edit your Intelligent Nudges notifications (if you are an Activate user with access to Intelligent Nudges) and your browser privacy settings.
When you select Sign Out, this ends your session in the platform and displays the login page.
Access Your Account Settings
On the right side of the navigation bar, click your initials to display the drop down menu, then select Account Settings.
The Account Settings screen appears with the Your Profile tab displayed and the Notifications and Browser Privacy Settings tabs available, as applicable. You can view your profile information, but you cannot modify it.
Edit Your Notifications Settings
If you are an Activate user with access to Intelligent Nudges, notifications are sent when new nudges are available. Notifications are sent when new insights, research articles, or Intelligent Nudges (if enabled) are available. You can turn the notifications on or off by simply selecting or clearing a checkbox.
Note: If you are not an Activate user with access to Intelligent Nudges, the Notifications tab does not appear in your account settings.
Click your initials and select Account Settings.
Click the Notifications tab to display your Notification settings.
Select/clear the checkboxes next to the notifications you want to enable or disable.
Click Save Changes.
Click the Browser Privacy Settings tab to display your cookie settings.
Note: Turning off notifications for nudges does not impact receipt of notifications from different products via email or chat.
Edit Your Browser Privacy Settings
You can choose to accept all cookies or select and accept only specific types of cookies.
Click your initials and select Account Settings.
Click the Browser Privacy Settings tab to display your cookie settings.
If you want to accept all cookies, click Accept All Cookies.
If you don’t want to accept all cookies, select/clear the checkboxes next to the cookies you want to enable or disable, then click Accept Selected.
Sign Out of the Platform
On the right side of the navigation bar, click your initials to display the drop down menu, then select Sign Out.
When you select Sign Out, this ends your session in the platform and displays the login page.
