Launch Your Listening Program | Overview

Modified on Tue, 09 Apr 2024 at 08:04 AM

After adding participants to your survey, you can move to the Launch phase of your listening program. During this phase you can create and test your email invite (Perceptyx templates make the process quick and easy), make your survey live, and create and schedule notifications (invites and/or reminders).

This article walks through the high level and links out to the step-by-step of the following:

  1. Create & Test Your Email Invite
  2. Make Your Survey Live
  3. Create & Schedule Notifications

1. Create & Test Your Email Invite

Email templates provide a quick way to create invitation emails (as well as reminder and reporting access emails). After you create a template you can send a test email to see how the email will look to the recipients.

When creating your invite, you can add placeholders that serve as merge fields so the email will populate with information like the recipient’s name and the URL for the survey. You can also use the built-in formatting bar to apply formatting to your email text. Learn more in the Launch Your Survey  article.

2. Make Your Survey Live

After you create and test your email invite you can make your survey live. Changing the status to Live enables you to schedule your email notifications. Learn more in the Launch Your Survey  article.

3. Create & Schedule Notifications

After you create your emails and your survey is live, you can schedule when your emails are sent. You can send them immediately or schedule a date and time to send them. You can also specify who will receive the email, based on survey status - everyone, regardless of status, or only those who have not submitted their survey yet (use for reminder emails). Learn more in the Launch Your Survey  article.
