The Detailed Scores Report provides a visual and numerical display of the self rating and others’ rating (an aggregated mean score excluding the self rating) for each item or competency in the 360 event. If you are a participant, the report displays information only for your self rating and ratings from the people you nominated. If you are an administrator, the report displays information for all the participants in the 360 event, which you can filter as needed.
Note: The Detailed Scores Report is available only for Perceptyx-led 360 listening events. It is not available for self-led 360 listening events.
This article walks through:
Access the Report
You access the report from the reporting dashboard, which you in turn access from the Analyze page in the People Insights Platform. You can click the link in your report availability email or log into the platform directly.
Note: If your organization is not using the current version of the People Insights Platform, your steps to access the reporting dashboard may be different than those presented below (e.g., as an administrator, you may need to navigate to the Surveys or Manage Surveys page and click to see results for the 360 event, or log into a separate reporting site; as a participant, you may need to navigate to the Cultivate page and click to see results for your 360 event, or log into a separate reporting site). Your report availability email will include a link to the appropriate starting point.
Log in to the People Insights Platform.
In the navigation bar, click Analyze.
In the All Reports section, find and display the listening event in the table (you can use the filtering feature or the search feature if necessary).
Click Actions for the event and then click View Report or Live Report, as applicable.
The reporting dashboard opens.
In the left panel, click Detailed Scores.
The report opens.
Navigate the Report
If you are a participant, the report displays data from your self rating and aggregated data from those you nominated as raters. The color coded bars provide a visual representation showing where your self rating differs from others’ ratings. The data columns provide a numerical summary of the same information.
Note: This information also appears in your downloadable 360 report.
If you are an administrator, the report displays aggregated self rating and others’ rating data for all the participants in the 360 listening event. The color coded bars provide a visual representation showing where self ratings differ from others’ ratings. The data columns provide a numerical summary of the same information.
By default, the report opens displaying the Items tab, which shows self rating and others’ rating data for every item asked in the 360 listening event.
The Competencies tab shows the same information but with the items grouped by competencies defined by your organization.
You can expand each competency to view the items aligned with it and the corresponding ratings.
In the left panel, click Detailed Scores.
The report opens displaying the Items tab.
If desired, sort the results in ascending or descending order by item, self rating, or others’ rating using the up and down arrows at the top of each column.
Click the Competencies tab.
The Competencies tab displays with each competency defined by your organization.
Click the plus icon next to a competency to display its corresponding items and results.
Filter the Report
If you are a participant, you may be able to filter your results by relationship type if there are enough responses to meet the minimum threshold for maintaining response anonymity. If the threshold isn’t met, no data will display when you apply your filter.
If you are an administrator, you can filter the results by any demographics you have permissions to use, as long as there are enough responses to meet the minimum threshold for maintaining response anonymity. Typically, these demographics include relationship type and participant name.
Open the report.
In the left panel, click Filter Data > New Filter.
The New Filter dialog box appears.
Click the Select a Demographic dropdown.
A list of available demographics appears.
Note: If you are a participant, Relationship is the only available choice.
Click the demographic by which you want to filter.
The dialog box displays options associated with the selected demographic.
Select the option(s) you want to include in the filter.
The dialog box updates to show the count (number of respondents for each selected option).
Note: If you make a selection that does not have enough responses, a message will appear indicating that the count is too few to display.
Click Submit Filter.
The filter is applied to your report. The count and filter details display at the bottom of the page.
Until you clear a filter, any report you view will show results only for the demographic(s) selected.
In the left panel, click Filter Data > Clear Filter.
Display Trend Data
The Compare To dropdown (top right) enables you to show scores from previous 360 assessments along with the current scores so you can see if scores have gone up or down, or remained the same. Your role in the 360 process determines the results you see:
Participant: The comparison displays only your previous results.
Administrator: The comparison displays previous aggregated results for the 360 participants.
You can view trend comparisons at the overall level or apply a filter and then view comparisons. When you specify a comparison, the results display below the results for the current 360 event. The comparisons display for each item and competency.
Open the report.
If you want to apply a filter, do so before displaying trend data.
Display the Compare To dropdown, then select your comparison.
The comparison data displays below the current event results.
The following example shows trend data for results filtered for a specific participant.
The following example shows trend data in the Competencies tab for results filtered for a specific business unit segment.
Export the Report
You can export the report in Excel or PDF format.
Click Export (bottom right).
Select Export PDF or Export Excel.
The exported file is saved to your default download location.
