Participant Dashboard and Reports | 360

Modified on Tue, 20 Aug at 3:57 PM

Once your 360 event ends, you can view your results on the Analyze page. Your results view depends upon the type of your 360: Platform (self-led) or Perceptyx-led (built with services).

Note: Reporting results only display once you’ve met the criteria (you nominated raters, the minimum required number of raters completed assessments, and you completed the self-assessment, if required).

This article walks through both experiences:

Access the Reporting Dashboard

You access the reporting dashboard from the Analyze page in the People Insights Platform. You can click the link in your report availability email or log into the platform directly.

Note: If your organization is not using the current version of the People Insights Platform, your steps to access the reporting dashboard may be different than those presented below (e.g., you may need to navigate to the Cultivate page and click to see results for your 360 event, or log into a separate reporting site). Your report availability email will include a link to the appropriate starting point.

  1. Log in to the People Insights Platform.

  2. In the navigation bar, click Analyze.

  3. Access your results:

From the Report Eligible section:

  1. Click the 360 tab.

  2. In the card for your 360 listening event, click View Report or Live Report, as applicable.

From the All Reports section:

  1. Find and display the listening event in the table (you can use the filtering feature or the search feature if necessary).

  2. Click Actions for the event and then click View Report or Live Report, as applicable.

The reporting dashboard opens.

Your dashboard display and options depend upon your 360 type: Platform (self-led) or Perceptyx-led (built with services).

Platform (Self-Led)

For self-led 360 listening events, the reporting dashboard displays a bar chart summary of results for each category (competency) and comment question, with the option to display details for each one. Hover your mouse over any bar to see a pop-up of the precise score. Result summaries display for each relationship type for which the minimum response threshold is met. The summaries help you quickly see how your assessment of yourself compares to the ratings of each relationship type and the overall rating.

The bottom of each summary section displays the number of questions in the category or the number of comment responses, and provides a toggle to expand or hide details.

Perceptyx-Led

For Perceptyx-led 360 listening events, the reporting dashboard is divided into a left navigation panel (enabling you to access all available reports and apply filters) and the main area (where the dashboard/report information displays). The navigation panel stays open as you move between reports unless you click the arrow icon (top) to collapse it.

The list of reports available in the navigation panel may vary; however, our best practice configuration includes the Detailed Scores Report, the Comments Report, and the Survey Results Report. The Detailed Scores Report provides a visual and numerical display of the self rating and others’ rating (an aggregated mean score of all non-self ratings) for each item or competency in the 360 event. For more information, see the Detailed Scores Report | 360 article. The Comments Report and Survey Results Report function the same as they do for Point-In-Time and Lifecycle events (although the Comments Report does not include the Summary, Theme Co-Occurrence, Hot Spot, or Crosstab tabs). For more information, see the Comments Report and Reference Reports articles.

The main area of the dashboard displays a high-level overview of your 360 results and a widget to download the full 360 Report. Depending on your company's configuration options, the dashboard may also display a widget to share your 360 Report via email.

Review Your Results

You can use dashboard options to review the details of your results.

Platform (Self-Led)

The bottom of each summary section provides a toggle to expand or hide details for questions or comments.

Show Details for Questions

When you click Expand for Details for category questions, the dashboard displays aggregate scores (except for Self and Supervisor) for each question in the category.

As with the category summary, the question summary includes the overall rating, your self-rating (if you were required to complete a self-assessment), your Supervisor rating, and aggregate ratings for each of the other relationship types included in the 360 event.

  1. Scroll to the category you want to view.

  2. Click Expand for Details (bottom right).

The summary section expands to show score details for each question in the category.

  1. To hide the details, click Hide the Details (top right).

Show Details for Comments

When you click Expand for Details for an open-ended (comment) question, the dashboard displays each submitted comment. Your own comments (if you were required to complete a self-assessment) and the Supervisor comments are clearly identified and all other comments are identified as “Total Others” to maintain anonymity for the raters.

  1. Scroll to the comment question you want to view.

  2. Click Expand for Details (bottom right).

The summary section expands to show all the comments received for the question.

  1. To hide the details, click Hide the Details (top right).

Perceptyx-Led

With a Perceptyx-led 360 event, you can explore your results within the dashboard and download a detailed 360 report in PDF or PPTX format. The best practice dashboard configuration displays information for four key results:

  • Top Items:

This section displays items for which your average ratings from others were highest.

  • Bottom Items:

This section displays items for which your average ratings from others were lowest.

  • Hidden Strengths:

This section displays items for which others rated you higher than you rated yourself.

  • Blind Spots:

This section displays items for which others rated you lower than you rated yourself.

Note: Your dashboard configuration may display different information.

Each section uses color coded bars and separate columns to show how you rated yourself (Self Rating) and how others rated you (Overall excl. self), as shown in the following example. This visual depiction helps you quickly identify items for which you and your raters perceive your capabilities differently.

Display Results for Rater Groups

Each section also includes a Select Rater Groups dropdown you can use to display results columns for specific types of raters.

  1. Click the Select Rater Groups dropdown in the section you want to work with.

The dropdown displays a list of available rater groups.

  1. Select the checkbox for each rater group for which you want to display a column.

Note: You can click Check All or Uncheck All to select or clear all the checkboxes at once.

  1. Close the dropdown by clicking the X icon (top right).

The section updates to show results for the rater group(s) you selected.

Display Comparisons for Trending

If you have completed the 360 assessment previously, you can display previous scores alongside your current scores to see if they have gone up or down, or remained the same. If results from your previous assessment are available, the Select Rater Groups dropdown in each section includes two additional options:

  • Self Rating (year)

  • Overall (Excl. Self) (year)

The results for the option(s) you select display beside your current results in the dashboard.

  1. Click the Select Rater Groups dropdown in the section you want to work with.

The dropdown displays a list of available rater groups.

  1. Select the checkbox for the Self Rating (year) option, the Overall (Excl. Self) (year) option, or both.

  2. Close the dropdown by clicking the X icon (top right).

The section updates to show results for the rater group(s) you selected.
