Platform setup
Can't get into the Perceptyx platform? Work through these checks in order. Most access problems are sorted out in just a few minutes.
This article walks through
1. Check for a platform outage
Before you troubleshoot anything on your end, it's worth a quick look to see whether the platform itself is having a problem. Perceptyx has a status page for each region. Open the one for your region:
| Region | Status page |
|---|---|
| EU | status.eu.perceptyx.com |
| US | status.us.perceptyx.com |
| Government | status.gov.perceptyx.com |
If there's an outage or scheduled maintenance going on, you'll see it listed at the top of the page. In that case, there's nothing you need to fix. Check back once the issue is marked as resolved.
Tip
You can subscribe to email updates from your region's status page so you hear about outages and maintenance as they happen. Platform Status Page shows you how, and explains everything else the status pages show.
2. If no outage is reported
If the status page looks all clear, the problem is more likely something on your end. Try these one at a time, and check whether you can get in after each one.
- Use the link from your invitation email. Copy the link from the email Perceptyx sent you and paste it straight into your browser's address bar. That link is set up for your organization, so it's the most reliable way in.
- Try a different browser or device. If you're on an older or less common browser, switching can fix things right away. You can check which browsers are supported in Perceptyx Global Tech Specs.
- Clear your browser cache, or open a private window. Old saved data in your browser can sometimes get in the way. Clearing your cache or using a private (incognito) window gives you a clean start.
- Check in with your IT or HR team. Sometimes a company network, firewall, or security tool blocks access to outside sites. Your internal IT or HR team can tell you if anything on your end is getting in the way.
Note
If the platform loads but your password won't work, head over to Set/Reset Your Perceptyx Platform Password instead. It walks you through getting a new password in a couple of minutes.
3. Contact Customer Care
Still can't get in? Submit a request to Customer Care and they'll help you sort it out. Including these details up front helps them get to the bottom of it faster:
- Your company name
- Your email address
- The link you're trying to open
- Any error messages you see, or screenshots of them
- Whether it's just you or other people too, if you know
