Advanced Reporting Password Reset

Modified on Fri, 11 Oct at 11:22 AM

Some companies that use Advanced Reporting require reporting users to access their dashboards/reports with a username and password. If you forget your password, you can request a password reset by clicking Forgot Password on the login screen. You can also use the Forgot Password option if you forget your username.

This article walks through:

Request a Password Reset

You receive your reporting access credentials via an email that contains a URL for your reporting dashboard, along with your username and a temporary password. Make sure you use the URL specified in the email to access your reporting dashboard.

  1. Navigate to the reporting login screen.

  1. Click Forgot Password?

A popup displays with a Reset Password option.

  1. In the Username or Email box, type either your username or your email address.

Note: You must enter the correct username or email on file with Perceptyx.

  1. Click Reset Password.

A popup displays, indicating that if your account has been found, an email with password reset instructions has been sent to the email address on file.

  1. Click Close This Window.

Create a New Password

After you request your password reset, you should receive an email from Perceptyx Customer Support with a temporary PIN code and instructions for resetting your password.

Note: If you do not receive an email, please check your SPAM/Junk folder.

  1. Open the Account Information Request email from Perceptyx Customer Support.

The information you need is outlined in red in the following example.

  1. Copy the PIN Code directly from the email (to avoid possible confusion between characters, for example, a 1 versus a lowercase "L").

Note: Make sure you do not copy any spaces before or after the PIN Code.

  1. In the email, click Password Reset Page.

You are directed to a new page to change your password.

  1. Paste the PIN Code from the email into the PIN Code box.

  2. In the New Password box, type your new password.

  3. In the (Repeat) New Password box, type your new password again.

Note: Make sure your new password contains at least 8 characters and at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number, and 1 special character.

  1. Click Submit.

Your password is reset and you are directed back to the login screen.

  1. Log in with your new password.

Note: If you do not remember your username, click Forgot Password? on the login screen and copy the username shown (below the PIN Code) in the email you receive from Customer Support. You do not need to change your password.
